 AgTech Director, Business Intelligence

Meg joined Southeast TechInventures (STI), an innovation lab focused on migrating promising technologies from university research labs to the commercial market, in 2007. She has been involved with STI's expansion efforts including the launch of Ag TechInventures (AgTI). Meg is an expert on technology innovation and transformation with a special focus on strategy, business models, and process development – she brings these skills and experience to bear in order to ensure each new venture's success. In addition to supporting portfolio companies, Meg designed a proprietary database AgTI & STI use to identify promising university technologies that can be brought into the innovation lab for further development into portfolio companies or co-developed with our Industry Partners. The database currently contains approximately 2000 technologies from more than 200 US and international sources. She also participates in a variety of activities including contributing to business plans, pitch presentations, developing and maintaining websites, and continues scouting for new AgBio and InfoAg opportunities including evaluating agriculture blockchain use cases.
