TERRY MARQUARDT

Director

Terry Marquardt is the President of Platte Life Sciences of Cary, North Carolina which he organized in 2012 and which provides business development and communicationsservices to life science companies. He is also on the board of directors of AgTechInventures, an agricultural company accelerator which is also located in ResearchTriangle Park.

Previously Terry was a founder and Executive Director of Scynexis, Inc., an Aventis CropScience spin-out company which provided discovery and development contract
services to agriculture, animal health and human health companies and which also pursues the discovery and development of human and animal health therapies. For
twelve years his responsibilities with SCYNEXIS included global business development and communications strategy and execution.

For twenty years he also worked with Aventis CropScience and its predecessor companies in which he held various technical, business and management positions. He holds BS and MS degrees in entomology from Colorado State University and is a fourth generation
farmer.
